“I Started Enjoying Difficult Questions”: Soumi’s Remarkable Journey

Standard

A perfect score is never the result of memorization alone. It is built upon clarity, confidence, discipline, and the ability to truly understand a subject at its core.

Soumi’s journey to scoring a flawless 180/180 in Physics in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test reflects exactly that philosophy.

What makes her testimonial especially meaningful to me is not only the achievement itself, but the transformation she describes — from viewing Physics as a formula-driven subject to genuinely enjoying difficult problems and developing unshakable confidence in her abilities.

Her words beautifully capture the teaching approach I have always believed in: that Physics should be understood through intuition, imagination, conceptual clarity, and deep thinking rather than rote learning.

For me, true success as a teacher lies not merely in helping students score marks, but in helping them develop confidence, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine love for learning. Soumi’s journey stands as a wonderful example of that transformation.

I feel immensely proud of her achievement and deeply grateful to have been part of her academic journey.

Scoring a perfect 180/180 in the Physics section of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test was one of the biggest achievements of my academic journey, and I sincerely believe that Devansh Sir’s guidance played a major role in making it possible.

I studied under him for around a year, and during that time, my entire perspective toward Physics changed. Before joining his classes, I viewed Physics mainly as a subject of formulas and problem-solving. But Devansh Sir taught it in a completely different way — through imagination, intuition, and conceptual understanding.

Inspired by the philosophy of Albert Einstein, he emphasized that true understanding comes not only from logic, but also from the ability to visualize and intuitively feel physical concepts. Whether it was Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Waves & Oscillations, Electrodynamics, or Geometrical Optics, every topic was explained with extraordinary clarity and depth.

What made his teaching truly special was that he never encouraged rote learning. He focused on building strong concepts first, and once that happened, solving even difficult questions became much more natural and enjoyable. In fact, after attending his classes, I genuinely started enjoying solving difficult questions, which eventually gave me an unshakable confidence in Physics.

Beyond academics, I deeply appreciated the sincerity with which he guided his students. He regularly monitored our progress, stayed connected with parents, and genuinely cared about our improvement, discipline, and overall growth as students.

The conceptual clarity and confidence I gained from his classes helped me approach the NEET Physics paper with calmness and precision. Devansh Sir is not just an outstanding Physics teacher — he is a mentor who genuinely transforms the way students think, learn, and believe in themselves.

I will always remain grateful for his guidance and mentorship.
